Life of writers - Joyful or Joyless?

Life of writers - Joyful or Joyless?

Hello wonderful people who are going to read this post. Thank you in advance.

Ohh! don’t have a clue what to write next ... This shows that I am a content writer :> Well, Just kidding 😝.

A writer's life is one of the most amazing as well as very challenging life. A technical writer who covers engineering topics will use their left brain during the most of the day. The left brain controls tasks that are related to logic. A creative blog writer will primarily use the right side of their brain, which is responsible for creative and artistic tasks.

Please don't start searching about left and right brain 😂.

Let’s dive into the world of writers

🤷‍♀️You’re constantly interrupted by family needing something and breaking your train of thought.

Just like I start writing this post and my mother asked me, " I hope you are not busy, let's do chopping".

Alright, chopping is done. Now I can start writing without interruptions. But wait.. I forgot what was I writing about?

I hope others can relate this, Haha!!

✒You started writing, but got a notification on social media

I started writing this post 3 hours ago, thanks to social media. I opened Instagram just to like post of mine friend, but ending up wasting 30 minutes watching reels🤦‍♀️ . Yet despite knowing that interruptions impact our productivity, most of us don’t think too much about how they more specifically affect our work. It may be obvious that being interrupted will increase the time it takes to finish whatever you are working on, but does the quality of that work suffer? The short answer is yes.

☕You need more coffee

Victoria Lo can relate this point 😊

For us as writers, sometimes putting words to a page just isn't enough to cut it. Through drinking coffee, we're able to shift down an extra gear, and help our mind process ideas just a little bit faster.

You are writing all day but still not pressing publish button

😵Frustrate the Grammarly

Ok, Let me check the typos. Grammarly get frustrated fixing my typos and punctuation. But friend in need is a friend indeed, that's why Grammarly is my bestie.

Alright, Let’s look at why writing might be joyful:

⌚You can write anytime I mean, look at all the perks. You get to sit home in your jammies if you want. You don’t punch a clock because you can write whenever you want.

😍You got flood of views and hear from a readers who loves your writing

This is the best feeling for writers when audience shower love towards the piece of writing. Getting maximum views is still a dream for some writers (for example: me).

Congratulations Ayodele Samuel Adebayo on completing 50k page views. Please share some views with me buddy😂.

🌈Your article gets featured

Another level of satisfaction and happiness seeing your article get featured. Now you wonder how can I relate to this feeling whose not even a single article is featured 😂. May be because I am not a quality writer, I am in my learning phase. But an experienced person was once a beginner. Isn't it?

Despite of all these, I can call myself a writer without being embarrassed. Thank you to those who read this useless post with so much dedication 💜.
